Volcanoes - active and extinct, hot springs, and a birthday on board

Each day seems more amazing than the one before, and we can safely say that George has forgotten all about his thoughts of becoming Fijian. It’s Vanuatu all the way now! I have left it so long since writing the previous update that this one has become something of a mountain to climb. From a tourist point of view, Vanuatu is a wonderful country – with volcanoes, hot springs, turtles, whales, dolphins, dugongs and fabulous snorkelling. But even more importantly, the people are incredible. They are consistently friendly and generous to us;
